Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Metic Apps, operated by sole proprietor Mert Verdi ("we", "us", "our", registered in Izmir, Turkey; contact: metic.apps@gmail.com), governing your access to and use of the Mining Rewards mobile application (the "App"), our promotional website at mining-rewards.vercel.app, and related backend services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, tapping "Accept" on the in-app consent modal, or otherwise accessing the Service, you represent that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Reward Program Rules, and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.

You must meet the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction to create an account and participate in the Service:

• United States: Minimum age 13 years old (COPPA, 16 CFR Part 312).
• European Union / EEA: Minimum age 16 years old (GDPR Art. 8(1)).
• United Kingdom: Minimum age 13 years old (UK GDPR / DPA 2018).
• Turkey: Minimum age 18 years old under the Turkish Civil Code (TMK Md. 11); users aged 16–17 may participate strictly with verified parental or legal guardian consent communicated via email.
• Brazil & India: Minimum age 18 years old (LGPD / DPDPA 2023).
• China & South Korea: Minimum age 14 years old (PIPL / PIPA).

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you possess the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, or that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time.

To use the Service, you must register an account using a valid email address and password, or authenticate via Google Sign-In. You agree that:

• One Account Per Person: You may register and operate only one (1) account. Multi-accounting, account sharing, selling, or transferring accounts is strictly prohibited.
• Accurate Information: You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration and reward delivery details.
• Credential Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Passwords are encrypted via one-way salted hashes (Bcrypt / Argon2) and cannot be recovered by us in plain text.
• Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): You may enable optional email-based or TOTP 2FA. Temporary challenge codes are hashed with SHA-256 and expire within 10 minutes.
• Notification of Breach: You must promptly notify us at metic.apps@gmail.com if you discover or suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Subject to your continuous compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only.

Sole Authorship & Architecture: The entire software architecture, database schemas, mining simulation algorithms, game balancing formulas, and brand assets of Mining Rewards are the exclusive intellectual property of Mert Verdi (Metic Apps), protected under international copyright treaties (US Copyright Office Circular 61, Turkish Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works, and EU Directives). Assisted coding tools have functioned solely as assistive instruments under human engineering control.

You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, modify, copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service.

MRC, mining rigs, levels, components, boosts, frames, and titles are virtual simulation items. They have no real-world cash value, do not accrue interest, and cannot be traded, bartered, or redeemed for cash outside our catalog.

All in-app purchases of coin bundles are processed through the Google Play Store billing system and are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable mandatory consumer laws or Google Play refund policies. When you initiate an in-app purchase, you expressly request immediate digital performance and acknowledge that your 14-day statutory right of withdrawal ceases once the digital content is credited.

If you obtain a refund or chargeback through Google Play after having spent or transferred the purchased coins, our automated verification system (Google Play Voided Purchases API) will record a corresponding deficit balance in our database table (public.coin_debt). In such event:

• All future mining block payouts and task rewards will be automatically intercepted and credited towards offsetting your coin_debt balance until fully cleared.
• Your account will be disqualified from submitting reward redemption requests while any debt remains outstanding.
• Repeated chargeback abuse or intentional fraud will result in immediate permanent account termination.

Mining Rewards is an evolving simulation game. We reserve the absolute right, at our sole discretion and without prior liability or obligation to compensate you, to modify, rebalance, adjust, replace, deprecate, disable, or permanently discontinue any aspect of the in-app economy, gameplay mechanics, device models, inventory items, and reward structures at any time. This includes, without limitation:

• Removing, altering, rebalancing, or sunsetting specific mining rig types, device levels, or inventory components;
• Adjusting mining block rewards, base hashrate formulas, component drop rates (drop rates), and ad-boost multipliers;
• Adding, altering, or removing reward brands, denominations, region availability, and MRC redemption conversion rates;
• Modifying daily/weekly task quotas, streak bonus milestones, or leaderboard reward distributions;
• Permanently discontinuing the Service or Reward Program upon thirty (30) calendar days (30 calendar day window) of advance in-app notice.

By creating an account, selecting a username (gamertag), and participating in the mining simulation, you grant Metic Apps a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display your chosen gamertag, tier badge, and public gameplay score on in-game leaderboards and official promotional web showcases. We never publicly display private account details (e.g., email address, real identity, or payment records). If you prefer your gamertag not to appear on public promotional showcases, you may submit a request to metic.apps@gmail.com for pseudonymization.

You acknowledge and agree that MRC, device levels, inventory parts, boosts, titles, and frames constitute a limited, revocable, personal license. You do not hold any proprietary, vested, or monetary rights in virtual items or balances. Changes, removals, or discontinuance of game mechanics, drop rates, items, or redemption pricing do not entitle you to any refund, compensation, or legal claim against us.

To preserve a fair and competitive simulation environment for all players, you agree NOT to:

• Use automated scripts, bots, auto-clickers, macros, or software emulators to simulate ad watching or mining activity;
• Connect via VPNs, residential proxies, Tor exit nodes, or data-center proxies to falsify geographic location or bypass regional reward catalog filters (verified via proxycheck.io server-side heuristics);
• Tamper with network communications, forge AdMob Server-Side Verification (SSV) nonces, or spoof Google Play Integrity API / safe_device signals;
• Exploit technical glitches, integer overflows, or race conditions rather than reporting them;
• Create multi-accounts to farm referral bonuses, promotional codes, or daily streak rewards.

Enforcement & Forfeiture: Detection of prohibited conduct triggers progressive penalties (Tier 1 warning, Tier 2 temporary suspension, Tier 3 permanent termination). Any account permanently terminated for cheating or fraud immediately forfeits all accumulated MRC balances, pending reward requests, and in-game inventory without compensation.

The Service is subsidized by third-party advertising networks (Google AdMob, Unity Ads, and Pangle / ByteDance). By utilizing rewarded ad features:

• No-Fill Non-Liability: Ad availability depends on network inventory, user geography, and third-party bidding. We do not guarantee continuous ad availability ("no-fill" situations).
• Server-Side Verification (SSV): All rewarded ad completions must be authenticated by cryptographically signed cryptographic nonces sent directly from ad network servers to our backend before boosts or rewards are credited.
• Ad Fraud Safeguards: Fast-forwarding, blocking, or manipulating ad SDKs violates these Terms and our ad network partner agreements.

Participation in gift card redemptions is subject to our dedicated Reward Program Rules, which are expressly incorporated into these Terms. Key terms include:

• Dynamic Catalog: Brand offerings, denominations, and MRC conversion rates are loaded dynamically from server tables and vary based on country and prevailing ad revenue (eCPM tiers).
• Non-Affiliation: We are completely independent of Google LLC, Apple Inc., Valve Corporation, or any other gift card issuer.
• Processing Timeline: Redemptions undergo automated security audits and are typically processed within 48 business hours (or up to 30 business days during comprehensive manual anti-cheat investigations).
• Waiver of Withdrawal: Once a digital code is delivered or viewed, all rights of refund or withdrawal are irrevocably waived pursuant to Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

The Service integrates third-party services, including Supabase Inc. (database and auth hosting), Google LLC (Play Billing, AdMob, Firebase), Unity Technologies, ByteDance/Pangle, and proxycheck.io. Your interactions with third-party providers are governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We do not endorse and assume no responsibility for third-party platforms.

You may customize your player profile with a username, avatar, frame, and title. You agree that your user content will not:

• Be obscene, vulgar, pornographic, hateful, racist, discriminatory, or harassing;
• Impersonate any person, brand, or developer;
• Infringe any copyright, trademark, or privacy right.

We reserve the right to sanitize, reset, or remove non-compliant usernames and avatars without notice, in compliance with the EU Digital Services Act (DSA, Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, Article 16).

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, bug-free, or error-free operation. We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance, database migrations, or server upgrades at any time. We further reserve the right to mandate client updates ("force update") to address security vulnerabilities, enforce protocol changes, or introduce anti-cheat patches.

THE SERVICE, APP, IN-GAME VIRTUAL ITEMS, AND REWARDS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL METIC APPS, MERT VERDI, OR OUR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR INABILITY TO REDEEM REWARDS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO US VIA GOOGLE PLAY IN-APP PURCHASES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS (USD $50.00).

Applicable Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is expressly disclaimed.

Jurisdiction: You agree that any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts and Enforcement Offices of Izmir, Turkey.

Notice on Repeal of EU ODR Platform: Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 of the European Parliament and of the Council, the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was permanently discontinued and closed on July 20, 2025. European consumers seeking alternative dispute resolution may refer to national consumer dispute bodies or utilize the European Small Claims Procedure (Regulation (EC) No 861/2007) where applicable.

You may terminate your account at any time within the App via Profile → Delete Account or by following the instructions on our Account Deletion Page. Account deletion triggers a thirty (30) calendar day grace period, during which you may reactivate your account by logging in. After 30 days, personal data is permanently purged pursuant to GDPR Article 17 via automated database cleanup tasks (Job 51).

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, in the event of any breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, ad manipulation, or bot utilization.

If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Reward Program Rules, Community Guidelines, and AI Disclosure, constitute the entire agreement between you and Metic Apps concerning the Service and supersede all prior understandings, agreements, or representations.

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. When material modifications are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date and version string (kLegalVersion = '2026-09-01'). Material amendments will be presented via an in-app modal dialogue requiring your explicit re-acceptance before continued gameplay. Your continued use of the Service following notice constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Metic Apps qualifies as a microenterprise under European Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC (employing fewer than 10 persons with an annual turnover or balance sheet not exceeding €2 million) and is formally exempt from the mandatory accessibility obligations of Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act, Article 4(5)).

Nevertheless, we are committed to digital accessibility and voluntarily implement principles aligned with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across our web and mobile user interfaces. To report an accessibility barrier, please contact metic.apps@gmail.com.
